Tears
In the mean time however let me add, These are not the vapors of a melancholy mind,
nor the effusions of envy, disappointed ambition, nor of a spirit of opposition to
government: but the emanations of a heart that burns, for its country’s welfare.No
one of any feeling, born and educated in this once happy country, can consider the
numerous distresses, the gross indignities, the barbarous ignorance, the haughty
usurpations, that we have reason to fear for meditating for ourselves,
our children, our neighbors, in short for all our country men and all their posterity,
without the utmost agonies of heart, and many tears.

Heaven Standing Open
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse,
whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges
and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head
are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows
but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his
name is the Word of God.
The armies of heaven were following him,
riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the
nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the
winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe
and on his thigh he has this name written:
King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Supremacy
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;
all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him
all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church;
he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in
everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have
all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself
all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace
through his blood, shed on the cross.
