\nof God -“I do.”
\nHe separates himself from all outward
\nhindrances, vain company,
\ntrifling amusements or studies, needless
\nengagements, that he may seek and intermeddle
\nwith all wisdom. Without it – Christian –
\nthy soul can never prosper.<\/p>\n
How canst thou intermeddle with the great
\nwisdom of knowing thyself, if thy whole mind
\nbe full of this world’s chaff and vanity?<\/p>\n
There must be a withdrawal to “commune with
\nthine own heart” and to ask questions –
\n“Where art thou? What doest thou here?”
\nMuch is there to be inquired into and pondered.
\nEverything here calls for our deepest, closest
\nthoughts. We must walk with God in secret, or
\nthe enemy will walk with us, and our souls will die.
\n“Arise go forth into the plain, and I will walk
\nwith thee.” Like thy Divine Master, thou wilt never
\nbe less alone than when alone.<\/p>\n
